Asona Royal Heritage
Engaging our children to understand, cherish, and carry forward the living traditions of the Asona clan — where royal roots meet young hearts, and ancient wisdom becomes tomorrow's strength.
Why Heritage Matters to Our Children
The Asona clan carries one of the most distinguished royal lineages in Akan history. For over four decades, Asona Abusua Global has preserved, celebrated, and transmitted this irreplaceable cultural identity across three continents — from the forests of West Africa to the cities of Europe and North America.
Asona Royal Heritage is our covenant with the next generation. It is a deliberate, joyful, and structured programme that brings children face-to-face with their roots — through storytelling, traditional arts, language, ceremony, and living example — so that they grow with pride, purpose, and an unshakeable sense of who they are.
Music & Dance
Traditional Akan rhythms and ceremonial dances taught to young minds.
Oral Tradition
Royal proverbs, clan histories, and ancestral stories preserved and shared.
Adinkra & Kente
The sacred symbols and weaving arts of the Akan explained with wonder.
Royal Principles
Discipline, Respect, Humility, Royalty, and Loyalty — lived values, not just words.
Six Pillars of Asona Royal Heritage
Cultural Identity
Helping children know who they are — their clan, their lineage, their story — so they stand tall in any room, in any country, in any generation.
Language & Oral Arts
The Akan language carries the wisdom of centuries. Through stories, proverbs, songs, and recitation, children inherit what books alone cannot teach.
Traditional Performance
Dance, drama, drumming, and ceremonial re-enactments bring heritage to life — transforming learning into celebration and memory into movement.
Community & Family Bonds
The Asona family is the child's first world. We build belonging, generational respect, and the unspoken bonds that make a royal clan unbreakable.
Historical Knowledge
From the great Ashanti kingdom to the Asona clan's founding principles — children learn not just history, but the living relevance of that history today.
Future Leadership
Heritage is not nostalgia — it is a launchpad. Every child who knows their roots is equipped to lead with character, vision, and royal dignity.

Monthly gatherings across all chapters where children learn Akan proverbs, practice traditional greetings, hear elder-led stories, and engage in cultural arts — making heritage a joyful, regular part of their lives.
Workshop
Kente & Adinkra Arts Workshops
Hands-on creative sessions where children learn the meaning of Adinkra symbols, explore the philosophy of Kente colour patterns, and create their own heritage art — connecting ancient wisdom to modern expression.

Heritage Scholars Programme
A structured mentorship and academic support programme for teens aged 14–18 who demonstrate exceptional commitment to Asona values. Scholars receive direct mentorship from elder leaders and recognition at global events.
Royal Voices
"Since my daughter joined the Young Royals Club, she speaks about her heritage with such pride and confidence. She knows the proverbs, she knows the symbols — and she knows who she is."
"Heritage Weekend was the most powerful experience for my children. Watching them participate in the investiture ceremony — dressed in kente, reciting the clan creed — moved me to tears."
"As an elder, to see young children eagerly learning our proverbs, practicing our greetings, and asking questions about our royal lineage — that is the greatest gift Asona has given us."
